The Geyer family has 35 years experience growing berry and orchard fruits in Virginia. Agriberry was started in 2008 to employee first time area youth workers in raspberry and blackberry farming. They have partnered, to improve farm direct sustainability, with other family farms they know and trust. Agriberry has a certified commercial kitchen and makes jams, sauces, apple butter, plus fruit wonderful baked goods.
Cakes By Jen started15 years ago with a treasured family recipe. What began as gift-giving for neighbors, friends and teachers became “Jen's thing” and a business was born. Fast forward to now and Jen's goal is still the same: to bake the very best tasting coffee cakes and beautifully wrap them as gifts to brighten someone’s day. Will and Brianna Libby, who are passionate about bringing great coffee to the Richmond area. They seek to honor the journey of each coffee they serve, and every person involved in it, by ethically sourcing the finest green coffee from individual farms all around the world and creating a unique roast profile for each one. Their highly curated menu of both single origins and blends seeks to shine a spotlight on what makes each of these coffees, and their respective countries, special.
Great Harvest Bread is a bakery cafe located on Midlothian Turnpike specializing in made from scratch, whole grain breads and pastries. The Bremer family, co-owners of the West End Farmers Market, grows vegetables, herbs, and flowers naturally without the use of synthetic herbicides or pesticides. Specialty salad greens, herbs, cooking greens and a wide variety of root vegetables are grown year-round. In addition to fresh produce, the farm adds value, extends its harvest and minimizes waste by producing a variety of shelf stable and frozen products. Their fire-roasted peppers, pestos and braised greens are some of their best sellers.
